With the wide-spread of internet and popular TV shows, there’s a wealth of dental information available for people these days. However, aimed at higher readership/viewership, a lot of the information may be provocative, partial, incomplete, misinterpreted and sometimes misleading. We strongly recommend you to only consult the official dental websites and your own dentist if you have questions.

The American Dental Association (ADA)

ADA is a leader in patient education, in our opinion. It offers an extensive and very easy to understand video library for common dental topics. Although it is always unsafe for self-diagnosis, sometimes people do wish to verify their symptoms before consulting their dentist. ADA offers a very unique APP for checking symptoms and recommended actions.

The Canadian Dental Association and the Ontario Dental Association both have a library of literature on popular dental topics.
